first_img BATON ROUGE — A tourism official on business in Baton Rouge says she had no intention of sharing an adult video with nudity on the Instagram account of her employer, the Webster Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau. The video with nudity went live on the tourism bureau’s public Instagram account Monday night, and sent notifications to followers. The video lasted about 30 minutes.“It was a horrible, honest mistake,” Lynn Dorsey, executive director of convention and visitors bureau, told the newspaper. “I am mortified. I would never send that type of content out intentionally.”Dorsey had intended to send “a very private message” to her husband, she said. But she’s a new Instagram user and pressed the wrong button, she added.Dorsey posted the video using a Bureau-purchased iPhone 7 from a Baton Rouge hotel room while on a business trip, the newspaper reported.Instagram Live is a new feature, similar to that of Facebook Live, which allows users to stream live video footage via the social media platform, the Press-Herald reported. When a user “goes live,” the followers of the account may receive a notification announcing the live feed. Once a live video has ended, it is no longer visible on the platform.
