Tom Reed will host town hall in Groton this weekend

first_imgReed, who was first elected to the House in 2010, won about 24 percent of the vote in Tompkins County and 54 percent of the vote district-wide in the 2018 midterm election against Democratic candidate Tracy Mitrano. Reed’s past town hall events in Tompkins have been crowded affairs. More than 500 people lined up at the Southside Community Center shortly after President Trump’s inauguration to question Reed and a 2017 Trumansburg event reached capacity before the congressman’s arrival. A large audience in Enfield peppered Reed with questions about healthcare, the farm bill and gun control last May.
